Asian parents are well known for their controlling parenting style and South Asian parents are one step ahead and famous for their gender biased parenting, where they tend to dictate every aspects of girl child and this video was all about how life of a girl is enchained in South Asian Society and who holds the extreme end of the chain.
The video was a contestant of short movie competition held by UNDP in Nepal on the occasion of International Women's Day. The movie was directed and conceptualized by Shailendra Paudel and I must say is one of the best videos in the list.
