About Video:

This video from Lens On Nepal is truly inspiring. Lens On Nepal is an effort to explore and showcase the work of inspiring leaders' initiative, ( NOT THE POLITICAL ONES WE HAVE THE WRONG IMAGE OF AS "LEADERS") but real leaders who work to enhance Nepal's education sector.  Their mission is to create visual content about education to educate, inform and motive people and I believe they have surely done a great job here. This video will surely make you think, " If they can contribute so much to make things better here, Why can't I? "

This video showcases the work of two inspiring men. Shin Chul Yoon and Wang Jung Lama. They have been working in their own fields  to make Nepal's education  better in the rural areas where quality education is hard to access.

The video first showcases a Korean guy, Shin Chul Yoon .Yes, a Korean guy dedicating his life for the betterment of education in Nepal. Shin Chul Yoon is the co-founder of Maya Universe Academy, Nepal's first free private school. He's been living here for the past five years, has started the first free private school. He was just a student learning about how to make a better place before he came to Nepal and he came to Nepal to actually make the world a better place. He has introduced a system where the kids get quality free education, in exchange, the parents' do two days of labor work and work to make bracelets. The money collected from selling the bracelets in different country is used up to run the school. Inspiring right? A foreigner working so hard to provide quality free education.

Surely, there must be many Nepalese people who are working like that too, right? Yes there are.
There is Wang Jung Lama, He is an educator who has devoted his life to education at Shree Jana Jagriti Higher Secondary School, Sindupalchowk Nepal. He has been working as a teacher in his home-town, in the same school he gave his S.L.C. After completing is Bachelors' degree, he returned to his home-town to teach even though he got better offers to transfer to the urban schools. He resembles a true teacher who is a learner himself and has tells us that without dedicating our time towards the country, we can't have a better country.

There are people like these who have dedicated most of their time for development. This video makes you think, "How Can I help to make this country a better place where people can get quality education?". Maybe you cannot dedicate all the time but you can certainly try.  Yoon  says it beautifully, "Sitting still will not make any changes, you have to get up and do something, take an initiative and there's so many things to be done in this country and while I'm being here, as a foreigner trying to give my life, I mean you guys should be doing something, Help others help out"
